[Teahouse] Volunteer at tTea House

[Alexandra Nicklas]

Hello,

My name is Alexandra Nicklas (Ali) and I work as a mental health coordinator
for Front Street Incorporated for Santa Cruz County mental health. Brad
Burge and I are attending the training on Tuesday and volunteering on
Wednesday morning.

I wanted to extend my appreciation for this opportunity in helping give back
to the community. Thanks!

I have experience in working with the Suicide Prevention hotline, a sub
acute psychiatric facility (7th Avenue Center) and I currently, work at a
board and care assisting people diagnosed with schizophrenia (and other
diagnoses), helping them to transition into independent/supported housing.
Although, sometimes it seems that a bulk of the work is just helping people
maintain their housing and avoid hospitalization.  Also, I am First Aid
Certified and a Certified Massage Practitioner.

I am bringing extra pillows.  I am motivated, reliable and look forward to
helping out.
