[Teahouse] Burning Man Tickets

Dear Tea House Community,

After much discussion, the Saraswati Tea House will once again join with Camp Above the Limit (ATL) to return to the playa this year. The camp will be located on or very near the 9:00 plaza and include about 80 people. In addition to the Tea House, ATL will once again include the Café Kona dome and the Crystal Cavern, plus the excellent Palenque Norte http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palenque_Norte speaker series. 

Thanks to skillful negotiations by camp founder Twilight, ATL has been allotted 25 tickets that can be purchased off the Burning Man website, with a special key code, for the face price of $390.00 per ticket. Deadline for purchasing the tickets is March 23rd. Since the tickets have been given directly to our camp to allocate, anyone who wishes to purchase a ticket must camp with us, commit to working at least three shifts in the Tea House and pay a camp fee of $100 that goes towards supporting camp infrastructure. 

If you are interested in purchasing a ticket for yourself, your immediate family members, or a newcomer who you can vouch for, please contact me ASAP. We will even allot tickets for complete Burning Man newbies so long as you are willing to be personally responsible for them. We will not sell large quantities of tickets because we want to give as many of our fellow campers as possible a chance to join us on the playa. Ticket sales are first come, first serve. 

Our camp is also seeking a paid camp Budget Director who can keep track of our expenses. In addition, we are looking for experienced Burners who are willing to be camp manager for a day, as we will take turns with this duty. 

Because we had such a wonderful Tea House crew last year, I have faith that our internal ticket process will once again bring together the people we are somehow meant to camp with, with harmony, joy and hot tea for all.
