Greetings from Black Rock City. We have been on the playa with our build
crew for several days setting up and anchoring down the Full Circle Tea
House which is located at 9:15 and D this year. It's been very windy out
here with just enough dust to keep us on our toes. If you are coming to
the playa, please make sure to bring extra rebar, rope, ratchet straps
and anything else you need to anchor your shelter and your art. <br><br>
If the wind blows you out to this lonely stretch of fossilized lakebed,
please come serve tea with us. We will begin our 24/hour tea service on
Sunday and serve until the following Monday. The Tea House is offering a
fine selection of pu-erh teas this year, plus an assortment of herbal
infusions. We also give away many hundreds of gallons of water and offer
a quiet, shady nap space for tired Burners. <br><br>
The Full Circle Tea House is a form of community, participational art and
we welcome you to join us. We do daily tea service trainings for new
servers or those who need an update on tea protocols. The Tea House has
four six-hour tea server shifts each day, but doing a split shift is ok
too. Below is our shift sign up form. Feel free to circulate this message
to any of your friends who feel called to tea service and will be on the
playa this year. Please send any questions to <a href="mailto:ah@well.com">ah@well.com</a> and we will
keep you updated on playa conditions. <br><br>
