A sifty character! 
David Hoffman is one of the Fair's dedicated volunteers. He shows up every Saturday, rain or shine, and always puts in a hard day's work including such disagreeable jobs as ridding the Site of poison oak. Here he is shown with our compost sifter--which was made out of a cement mixer. The energy cart seen in the background provides ample power from its two car batteries and a power inverter.
