Eugene BioSource

Sustainable Fuel Choices for a Peaceful Planet
Our Mission
We are dedicated to the education, research, and development of community-based energy derived from contemporary biological sources, such as used vegetable oil, animal manure, and pre- and post-consumer food "waste".
Our Vision of Community Based Energy
Like food, energy is a basic necessity for everyone. Since most people do not produce their own energy, they must purchase what they need from available (mostly fossil-based) fuel sources. Unlike imported fuels, biofuels (such as biodiesel, hydrogen, and methane) can be derived from resources that are readily available regionally. Producing biofuels locally gives consumers a sustainable option that directly supports their local economy and community.
What this web site is about (and
what it's not)
This web site is authored and maintained to
provide accurate and timely information about biofuels, and Biodiesel in
particular. It is also intended to profile Eugene BioSource, and serve as our resume. We hope that you will find it informative, and invite your comments
and questions
Eugene Biosource does not attempt to
convey a step-by-step process of the production of Biodiesel fuel. Such
information is available in a multitude of internet web sites, and in printed
form in books. Please check our 'Links' page for more information on finding
additional resources.
