	Our Mission Eugene BioSource is dedicated to the education, research, and development of regionally-based energy derived from contemporary biological sources (e.g. plant matter, animal manure, and pre- and post- consumer food "waste”).

Energy, like food, is a basic necessity for everyone.  Since most of us do not produce the energy we consume, we must purchase what we need from available sources. 

Domestically produced biofuels (i.e. biodiesel, hydrogen, methane) provide individuals, businesses and governments with an alternative to imported fossil fuels.

• Are derived from renewable biological sources

• Directly support American farmers and the domestic economy

• Generate less pollution than petroleum-based fuels
