When I wrote my report of last Sunday's bot tournament, I believed that
pachi2 was running on a single 20-core system; and that for rounds 1-3
it was misconfigured and was using only one core, but for rounds 3-8 it
was using all 20 cores. This is what I put in my report.

In fact, it was running on 64 20-core systems. For rounds 1-3 it was
misconfigured and was using only one core of each system, but for rounds
3-8 it was using all 1280 cores (less whatever was required for the OS,
etc.). I have now corrected my report.

Yesterday, pachi2 with its 1280 cores started to have a rated account on
KGS. It rose from 3d to 4d yesterday evening, but dropped back to 3d
early this morning. It is maintaining its 3d rating despite misjudging
(what appear to me to be) easy semeais, like this:

  . . . . . . . . . O # # Bottom left corner of 19x19 board
  . . # . . # . . . . O .
  . # # # # O O . . . . . Game with o1600seki 1d,
  . # O # O # O O O . O . played at 10:52 pm gmt yesterday
  # O O O O # # # # O . .
  . . . . . . . . . . . .
