[Computer-go] Questions About Zen

A couple of questions in the game comments yesterday, about Zen, that
seemed to go unanswered:
 1. Does it have an opening book? Is it hand-made, or a cache of long
MCTS analysis, or something in between?

 2. Does it think on the opponents time?
